I have a Gateway NEh and ever since I bought it have feared getting buyers remorse. I've reset my laptop over and over just to see the same result; no working mouse pad. I found this page on my smart phone and I'm glad I did. I was expecting my laptop to be toast, but all I did was reach over and hit "F6" the Fn key wasn't necessary for my model and voila! Mousepad is back on. I think I'm going to research all the different key functions and how to stop them because this machine seems to be pretty sensitive, that and I have a cat who likes to trot all over it.
Anyway, thanks for the good answer! You saved me from smashing my laptop, Office Space style ;. Thanks for marking this as the answer. How satisfied are you with this reply? Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.

In place of the 2. Performance in both cases is substantially higher than the previous incarnation, and the addition of a Blu-ray drive with a drop in price is impressive. In terms of features, the NV59 matches the in every area. Again, there's a Bluetooth Fn key combination but no hardware. Honestly, the price is much lower than most of the competition, especially with the Blu-ray drive. The keyboard is different from the Acer , however, and it's a case of one step forward and one step back. The touch of the keys is better in my opinion, but the keys are still tightly spaced.
