Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. The laptop produces normal windows sounds and the windows media player plays any mp3 I ask it to play, but the programs that require the use of ASIO drivers Cubase 5, Console 1. I have tried re-installing the device specific ASIO drivers, but to no avail. I have also tried uninstalling all relevant pieces of software that have been installed since I last used it successfully.
Also, I don't think that the problem is in the device specific drivers because when I start windows in Safe Mode , then the programs detect all the ASIO drivers. Can anyone please help and shed some light on this?
Many thanks in advance! Windows 10 64 bit. I have a recording studio Sonar X3. What do you have that installed for? What do you have listed in the Device Manager, Sounds section? Post a screenshot of that section. Hi, fireberd, Please find attached a photo of my Device Manager. Also, the ASIO4ALL is installed because of backup audio interface that I use and in a year of joint usage it has never given me problems, so it can't be that.
Thanks a lot in advance! Temporarily disable that in the Device Manager, then restart the PC and see what happens. Ok so this has been irritating me for the past few weeks. Without it, I can't get down to 64 samples and record and playback audio without a horrible latency that prevents Correspondingly I am having some driver problems.
Drivers Upgrade from Vista to 7 Ult bad drivers no safe mode So I upgraded an HP Pavilion Dv from Vista to 7 ult and a drivver issue is now not allowing me to even get into safe mode. The blue screens I get are 1: An attempt to write to non executable memory was made and 2: Not knowing what that is, how would I go about finding out?

This driver supports Windows 7 and later, both and bit versions. For stable performance, Sound Devices highly recommends that your Windows computer is installed with the latest Intel USB drivers even if your computer is not Intel based. These drivers are not included in Windows automatic updates. For details on how to manually install these drivers, refer to this Technical Document.
